Say、tell、speak、talk は、どれも日本語では「言う」「話す」と訳されますが、注目するポイントが異なります。
まずは次の4つを覚えましょう。

Sayの後ろに人を直接置かない
間違い：

Tell の後ろに人を置く場合、to は使いません。
